Course Integrated Instruction

Sessions are designed to meet the specific needs of the students in order to optimize their research and information literacy skills. Sessions can be held in the Library's Classroom. For more information, contact Roz McConnaughy.

Library Classes and Webinars

Library classes are open to USC faculty, students, staff, and the general public. All classes are held in the library's classroom and last about an hour. See Library Classes for current schedule and to access class handouts.

House Calls

Do you need assistance in the use of library resources and databases? Librarians will provide individual consultations or group instruction regarding library resources and databases to School of Medicine faculty and staff in departmental offices or speak at departmental meetings. On Demand Presentations

Library Liaisons are available for individual consultations, departmental meetings, or journal clubs. The list of On Demand Presentations outlines some of the potential topics you can request. Contact your liaison today to schedule a customized session to meet your group’s needs.

Tutorials

Online tutorials are available on demand to provide an overview of an e-resource and can help you improve your searching skills.

Development of Online Tutorials

Librarians are available to partner with School of Medicine faculty on the development of online tutorials and/or case studies for use in courses. The Library utilizes Adobe Captivate software to build the tutorials. Tutorials can be built to include interactive components. For more information, contact Roz McConnaughy.
